Kamen Rider W

I talk about a lot of J-Shows like Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, so I am here to introduce the very series that started me to watch J-Shows; Kamen Rider W. Lester’s history lesson; one day on youtube, I was looking up Power Rangers stuff and found a Top 10 Henshin video. Me being curious, I clicked on a video that was recommended on the side and was extremely curious about the show that had a man wearing a fedora. Mind you, I was in my fedora phase (still am) and had to find out what the name of...

My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is an anime that is set on Earth where humans are born with powers called Quirks. Humans manifests their Quirks around the age of 4 and can range from super strength, breathing fire, or becoming a woodman i.e. Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. The main protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, is a boy who just graduated from junior high and is attending the prestigious hero school U.A. Academia. Through out his time in the academy, he meets fellow humans with Quirks in hopes of becoming the number one hero. Before, Izuku was a human without any kind of Quirk which made him a regular human being. However, being Quirkless does not stop Izuku from becoming the number one hero. Izuku strides to become the number one hero and idol, All Might. Upon encountering All Might, Izuku learns the truth about All Might’s Quirk and his true identity. The anime series is much like the Disney movie Sky High where the main protagonist is a normal person. However, Izuku later on inherits a Quirk and begins his high school life as a hero in-training. I highly recommend this Anime to anyone who loves superheroes and see what other kinds of powers are out...

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tells No Tales

Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man Tells No Tales never fails to entertain me and my love of the series. As a long time fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean series, this installment of the series was probably one of the better movies other than Curse of the Black Pearl. Going in watching the movie, I was itching to see what will this installment have. With all the trailers playing everywhere on the television, youtube, and facebook (all of which I use), I tried my best not to see any of them and wait until the day comes to watch the movie. The movie starts off much like any of the other Pirates of the Caribbean movies, with the exception of At Worlds End, the conflict of the main character and the direction where the movie is heading towards. The villain is revealed and is on the search for Jack Sparrow for what he has done to them; humiliation, owing a debt, lifting a curse. After the reveal of the villain is a Jack Sparrow antic that leads to his escape of some sort. We are then introduced to the main heroine and the problems she faces. After a few events, the three main characters all come together and sets forth on a grand sea adventure. There are jokes that stays true to it being a comedic adventure...

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: The Intense “almost-Halfway” Point

So my boyfriend is one that usually does this, but today is my turn~ As usual the accompanying background episode soundtrack was epic. I swear this Kamen Rider Series has one of the best! So with that out of the way here is a question for all those reading this. You guys know that feeling? That feeling you get when you know something intense is going to go down. Like that dreadfully, anxious excitement that decides to make its home in the pit of your stomach sort of feeling? Yeah, that feeling. That was the feeling of the episode 23 of the latest Kamen Rider Series, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. If you have no idea what the premises of episode 23 is supposed to be about here is a brief summary. Emu(Kamen Rider Ex-Aid) and the CR crew are given the ultimatum of stopping Kuroto Dan, who is better know as Kamen Rider Genm or by his immortal Gahsat Dangerous Zombie, in two days or they would be stripped of their privileges of being a Kamen Rider and the Cr would be shut down. Force with the choice to act quickly Emu and the crew head over to the Genm Corp, but Hiro(Kamen Rider Brave) remains behind to see if he could figure out why the new Gashat is not working. As the episode continued not only is a new...
